Join Tom Dreyer, Genealogist at NEHGS to learn how DNA can connect the dots in your family’s story. Tom will discuss what types of genetic tests are available to family historians, what genealogical problems they can—and can’t—assist you with, and ultimately how to choose the right test(s) to further your family history research.

About the Presenter: Tom Dreyer, Genealogist, has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University. He has been a genealogical researcher for the past thirty years. Before joining the NEHGS library staff full-time, Tom served as a volunteer for the Research Services department. His areas of interest are New England, Nebraska, Missouri, Germany, and DNA.
