Date: Saturday, April 24, 2021

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Cost: This Zoom presentation is free to all society members.

Registration: Pre-registration is required, and members will be sent a Zoom Meeting ID and passcode provided to members via email.

Program Description: Do you have a family story that your ancestor served in the Revolutionary War? Do you want to join the Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution? This presentation will help you there. It will begin by providing an overview of the sources needed to make the connection between you and the “patriot”, even if they migrated; move to the sources that can be used to document their service; and close by providing a brief overview of the DAR and SAR application process. You will finish with a solid overview of how to begin researching your Revolutionary ancestor.

About the Presenter: Bryna O’Sullivan is a Middletown, Connecticut, based professional genealogist and French to English genealogical translator. As owner of Charter Oak Genealogy, she specializes in lineage society applications.
